What our customers say about us

Welsh ambulance logo

Since 2017 Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust have worked in collaboration with Doc-works to develop and implement a fully digitalised safeguarding reporting system across the whole of Wales. The system enables our staff to make safeguarding referrals directly from their Ipad's and PC's to the appropriate Local Authority or partner agency in real time.

Since the implementation in 2019 Doc-works have continued to support us in creating a suite of referral pathways for service users with specific needs including Fire and Rescue Services, Live Fear Free (domestic abuse) and Dementia.

Doc-works are a great company to work with, nothing is ever too much trouble, they are professional, responsive, and quickly become part of your team.

The Scribe ePCR solution from Doc-works allows our third-party providers to generate digital records at the patient side and enables us to streamline the handover process with hospital emergency departments in an entirely paper free environment. The system allows us to review and audit clinical records as soon as they are created which proves invaluable in following up on incidents and analysing and measuring quality of patient care.

The Doc-works ePCR system gives us a much more robust record: it goes to everybody, it lets us research service data for evidence-based decision-making and auditing purposes, and it helps private providers as well.

At EEAST we are committed to providing high quality patient care and clinical excellence together with ongoing regulatory compliance. We wanted an intuitive, easy to use quality assurance solution to help achieve this. The AuditOnline solution from Doc-works fulfilled these requirements and we are very pleased with the results.

I found Doc-works easy to work with and together we have developed a product which works. Their understanding of our requirements and their attention to detail have been excellent. As our account manager, Ceri was always on hand to respond to my questions and to address any problem that arose.

Having onboarded the Scribe ePCR software recently, Central Medical Services have found it to make prehospital documentation easier and more accurate for ambulance crews to record important patient information. The information collected on Scribe can be accessed electronically by hospital staff before the ambulance crew arrives – providing important information in advance of the patient arriving at hospital. Central Medical Services have seen an improvement to quality of patient records and safety following the scribe implementation.

To give you an idea of the paper and cost saving the implementation of Scribe ePCR is going to make, I visited one of the bases of one of our private providers recently to collect the now redundant paper forms and they had 25 boxes worth; I couldn’t fit them all in my car!

SCAS turned to Doc-works who met and exceeded the brief to provide a fit-for-purpose, within budget audit solution allowing the Trust to become paperless. We have been able to achieve a return on investment and save time by removing duplicated processes. Automating tasks and mandating action plans has significantly helped the Trust in the management of compliance, regulation and general analytics.
