Challenge
East of England Ambulance Service Trust wanted to expand the features and benefits of their electronic audit entry and reporting and were looking to the market for experienced providers.
The Trust also wanted to enhance its ability to provide detailed, customisable reports and action plans, in real-time to staff, managers and commissioners.
The ability to create bespoke audit forms specific to each ambulance station whilst maintaining a common grading was also a consideration, as was the bespoke reporting tailored for each individual station.
Solution
EEAST replaced their incumbent audit solution with AuditOnline audit and medicine management solution which has been rolled out to over 600 users and 119 stations. The Trust can now meet safety, procedural and operational standards as well as easily produce evidence to demonstrate CQC and ISO 9001 compliance.
Once the existing requirements were met Doc-works were able to guide and support the EEAST team to build their own audit templates, reports and report packs. This included using the system for tasks such as Flu Vaccination tracking and Interim Vehicle Cleans which had not been considered during implementation.
The success criteria included seamless migration from EEAST’s legacy system and not only were the old requirements matched or improved upon but in many cases Doc-works were able to load old data onward for comparison.
