Doc-works is pleased to announce the successful deployment of a new electronic Patient Care Record (ePCR) system for the Medical Centre at Castle Combe Racing Circuit.
Previously reliant on paper-based incident reporting, the Medical Centre has now transitioned to a fully digital solution designed to streamline clinical documentation and improve record management.
The implementation includes two bespoke digital forms:
- Full ePCR Form – allowing medical teams to capture comprehensive patient and incident information at the scene.
- Fit to Drive Form – enabling the documentation of injuries where a rider or driver has been assessed and cleared to continue participating.
The new system provides a faster, more efficient way to record clinical information while ensuring records are accurate, consistent and securely stored.
Ceri Jones, CEO of Doc-works, commented:
“We’re proud to support Castle Combe Medical Centre in modernising its incident reporting processes. By replacing paper records with a tailored digital solution, the medical team now has immediate access to accurate, structured data that enhances both patient care and operational effectiveness.”
Chris Mason, Medical Services Manager at Castle Combe Medical Centre, added:
“The move to Doc-works’ Scribe ePCR system is a significant step forward for our medical operations. The new forms have been designed around our requirements and provide a much more efficient way to document incidents, assessments and outcomes, while giving us confidence that our records are complete and readily available when needed.”
This project reflects Doc-works’ ongoing commitment to helping healthcare and event medical teams digitise critical processes, improve data quality and enhance patient care through innovative technology solutions.
